Making GA4 Work for You: How IoIC Gained Clarity on Content Performance

Are you getting what you need from Google Analytics since the switch to GA4?

That was the challenge facing the team at the Institute of Internal Communication (IoIC) when we started working together.

They needed to understand how their content was performing and where members were dropping off — but without the right tracking in GA4, the insight just wasn’t there.

That’s where our consultant Tom Fox came in. Tom worked side by side with the IoIC team to get them up and running in GA4 — from setting up event tracking and link tagging to documenting the process and training the team as he went.

The goal wasn’t just to deliver a working setup. It was to help IoIC build their own confidence and skills, so they could keep learning and iterating long after the project ended.

For membership bodies like IoIC, tracking the right metrics - such as acquisition funnel performance and content impact - is essential. And we know many other associations are in the same boat.

If you're unsure whether your current analytics setup is giving you the visibility you need, we’d be happy to help.
